Pumpkin Carving
James and James worked hard on their pumpkin.
Hannah didn't want a "regular" orange pumpkin this year. We thought hers was really cool.
We got a bit of a late start on the pumpkin carving. Not late in the day...late in the season. Between the weather, the kids being gone and football games, cheer parties...the list goes on...this was the first day we were able to get to it.
So after finally finding our pumpkins, we set out to carving. The big kids were all about stencils this year. They thought it was going to be much easier than it was.
Evan LOVED his little pumpkin. Couldn't get enough of touching it, holding it, staring into it's little triangle eyes. Too cute.

LOVE the YODA!
Very nice!
We did ours last night, I don't like to carve them too early. I don't like them all saggy and mis-shapen by Halloween!
We haven't done it yet either - Ben isn't home enough. But I've been waiting for this post. I love to see what Big James comes up with. Very nice!
We just did our pumpkins last night also, It's been a busy time of year for us too and our kids aren't into sports yet, I don't know what we'll do when that time comes! I love the Star Wars family costumes!!!
