Last night we had the pleasure of going to James' first band concert. 5th grade. It was a nice concert and the kids all did their very best. Of course at this stage of the game, they only know 5 notes. They all looked so nice and we could tell they were trying their very best for all the parents, grandparents and friends there.
James plays the Tuba. He's the only one in that class that does and we all couldn't have been more proud of him. I couldn't help but look at these kids and imagine what they will be doing with these skills in the future. If they all continue, they will have one HUGE marching band in high school!!

How did you get close enough for that picture? It's great! Whenever I try to take pictures in a big room like that, they turn out dark. By the way, I love the baby gaga graphic. It's fascinating to see the growth and development of your baby!
Amy - James took it. We have a pretty simple camera that seems to catch some really good pictures. A Cannon Powershot. Nothing fancy. :)
