Bragging about my Husband

The most recent article in the Livingston County newspaper. Just a F.Y.I. and to brag just a bit about my wonderful hubby :)

I am proud of you both! Maybe you could get a part time job as a proofreader for the paper. It looks like they could use one. Your situation reminds me of the prayer of David in 2 Sam. 7:18-19 Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and he said:"Who am I, O Sovereign LORD, that you have brought me this far? And as if this were not enough in your sight, O Sovereign LORD, you have also spoken about the future of the house of your servant." Also verses 27-29 "O LORD Almighty, God of Israel, you have revealed this to your servant, saying, 'I will build a house for you.' So your servant has found courage to offer you this prayer. O Sovereign LORD, you are God! Your words are trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant. Now be pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, O Sovereign LORD, have spoken and with your blessing the house of your servant will be blessed forever."

- The God who blessed David's house can certainly bless the Wickmans with a house.

I love seeing the newspaper articles! I just know the Lord has the perfect house for your family, you just haven't found it yet. I was thinking today about all the awsome things that have happened to our group of friends this past year: healthy babies born, friends getting training for going into missions, marriages, more friends expecting that thought maybe it wasn't possible.... With God all things are possible!!! Just look at us!

God is good !
To know His hand is there to protect, guide and hold us, is such an overwhelming feeling. A camper of mine while counseling at Barakel wrote this on a paper and gave it to me, it read..........
"God may wait but is never late" Continuing to pray for open doors, patience, adjustments with hubby gone and dad not around, safety for James on the road, and for Pam that no toilets or plumbing issues arrise :) heehee. Weekends will be special times but hopefully the time away wont last long. Love you guys !!!
