Hannah and her Daddy had a wonderful time at the Daddy/Daughter dance. She not only learned the waltz but also got to do the Hokey Pokey, Chicken Dance, and the Cha Cha slide. She has been talking about it all day. James too enjoyed himself with her.
James and I had fun too!! He changed his mind just as we pulled into Burger King and went to McDonald's. They're right near each other so no biggie :) I like McD's fried better so I was happy. :) We played put put for about an hour. James had a hard time keeping his ball out of the water. Wink wink nudge nudge. It was hot out and I'm sure it felt good to get in and splash around. We got ice cream without Hannah and James. He even offered to pay for the ice cream because his Uncle Chris told him that's what guys do on dates. How sweet. Of course I still paid.
All in all a really fun Friday night.

Kelly - we think we found a church. We've gone 4 weeks now and really enjoy the Pastor. He's right on doctrinally. THe kids really enjoy it too and are learning good Biblical truths. It's called Community Bible of Brighton.
