With Her Own Money

We have been trying for the last year to teach the kids about saving money, tithing, and earning money. Hannah has done several extra chores this last summer in an attempt to buy something she really wanted. She finally had enough, and her Pogo Stick came in the mail!!!! She really values this toy and is so proud of how she worked to get it. We're proud of her too for the hard work and saving she did.

Maybe if I came over she would let me jump on it...?
That is something I always thought would be really cool when I was young, but I would've hurt myself in the gravel driveway.

super Hannah !
we have been working with Olivia on that also, and they value things so differently when they buy with their own money, Olivia takes such good care of her bike that she bought with her garage sale earnings ! just little things/teachings that are instilled early make such a huge difference in the long run.

Good job Hannah!!!!
That is great idea Pam. Working in the place that I do...I wish a lot more parents would teach their children responsibilty.

Hi Pam! I spotted your blog on Rachel's page! How are you? I hope you and the baby are doing well, as well as the rest of the family! What is your due date? I have a blog too, so feel free to "stop by"! :o)

Just so you know, I have been checking your blog every day to see if you have announced the gender of your baby.
