My Favorite Summer Dish

Kara wanted us to post our favorite summer dish. My top 2 are my Mom's so I don't know the exact recipe. Her potato salad and her tuna macaroni salad rock! I could eat those every day.
My husband really likes her potato salad, it's also been said that Pastor Mark is a big fan too :)

My favorite summer dish that I make is,

Cabbage/Ramen Slaw

1 package (3 ounces) chicken ramen noodles
3-3/4 cups coleslaw mix
1/3 cup slivered almonds
3 tablespoons sliced green onions
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
3 tablespoons sugar

In a large bowl, break noodles into small pieces; set seasoning packet aside. Add the coleslaw mix, almonds and onions. In a small bowl, combine the oil, vinegar, sugar and contents of seasoning packet. Pour over coleslaw mixture; toss to coat.

It's from an old Taste of Home. I know lots of people make it different ways and I like every way:) I love recipes and can't wait to see what the rest of you post.

I like this dish as well. Unfortunately Ben doesn't really care for it so I have to eat the whole thing myself. Needless to say, I don't make it much. :) Try to get your mom to post her potato salad recipe. Ben just came home today with 15 pounds of potatoes. It's too hot to make soup (90 degrees today)
