All Systems..GO

The cradle is ready, little dresses are hung in the closet, onsies and sleepers all clean, and the diapers are bought. We're ready! Baby girl is scheduled to be delivered Monday morning at 7:30am. I'M totally ready. I think. I know that I can't wait to sleep on my stomach again, and the thought of bending over without my face turning red sounds nice too.
We decided quite a while ago to have a C-section with this one. We tried natural with Evan and after 30+ hours of labor he was an emergency C-section. Chances are I won't dilate with this one either. Also, in the first detailed ultrasound we had of her, she had a "concern". She had a calcium deposit on her heart. They didn't seem too concerned about it, but concerned enough to recommend a C-section. It may already have disappeared but we really don't know yet. This could mean anything from Downs Syndrome (worst case scenario) to nothing. Don't Google it, you'll find all the terrible things and not much of the cases where it was nothing. I certainly have staying away from even listening to the What if's. Only the Lord really knows. Her facial structures are all normal so the worst case chances are slim to none. We decided a long time ago that if we had children we would take whatever the Lord blessed us with and be happy. We still will, no matter what! I love her so much already. This is no way a life threatening thing, but still may effect her in some small way. We'll know on Monday. Oh I just can't wait to meet her!!!!!
Pray for us as we transition to a family of 6. We are excited to grow and to see how God has been providing and preparing our family for the growth to come. Evan is still not sure about a baby coming to stay, but he'll adjust, we all will. :)

Since this has been such a great pregnancy for you, you might be surprised to find in a few weeks that you miss being pregnant. Or maybe I'm just weird. :) Either way, we are so happy for you and cannot wait to see pictures of your girl. I will be checking Monday morning so post as soon as you can! :)

Praying for you and baby girl. I'm so happy for all of you, and can't wait to see pictures. :) Just think, with a planned c-section, you can go in with make-up (or whatever), have the baby, and not even look like you just gave birth. :)
