Married Life

I had a conversation with Casey not too long ago about people that aren't married and think marriage is punishment. We both agreed that they have no idea what they are talking about. Marriage is the best thing that has ever happened to me!! I absolutely LOVE being a wife. I get so much satisfaction out of being my husbands help meet. Don't get me wrong, I was completely content being single. We have to be content and satisfied with God in all situations. I do have to say, I was called to married life.
I also absolutely adore Hannah and James. They are such great kids. So much fun to be with, and there is nothing better than a good night kiss and hug and a great big "I love you" from the bottom of their hearts. Trust me, kids, unless they think they're getting in trouble, are so honest about their feelings. If they don't like you, you know. If they think you're cool, you know. Once I was cool. Hannah said so. It made my day!!
Today we send them off for a week away from us. Although I will enjoy the time camping with my husband and getting plenty of alone time, I know I will miss the kids and be very ready for them to come home to us.
Pray for all of us that we will have safety and most of all we will all be drawn closer to God. Pray the tthe kids keep God first in their lives even when they are with others that don't.

Love you all!

So have you read the book yet? "Created to Be His Helpmeet." I just gave a copy to Amanda. If you read it, what did you think? If you haven't - get on it!!!

Kelly,
I am in Chapter 3 right now. I'm going slow, it's so much to take in. Thank you so much for that book. It really is a GREAT book with so much wisdom in it. I too encourage all married women to have a copy. No matter what stage marriage you're in. Jenny, you'd love it!!
Thanks again Kelly!

I am so glad that you are enjoying the book! I told Sarah that she needed to get a copy. You can only get it at the no greater joy website. (Jenny, I have a link to it on my blog). I plan to read it again when I get down to Kentucky.
