Pictures of My New Home

Our Home. I love our house! More and more every day. The neighborhood is great for kids. Lots of other kids to play with and quiet street. I think James is the only car I see driving down the road everyday.

It is an older home with lots of "character". Which means....squeaky floors, lots of woodwork, and neat little cubbies built in.

I have done ZERO decorating. Until I get a slip cover for the couch and figure out what direction I want it to go in it will probably remain that way. I don't really have the living room arranged yet. Someday soon I'll figure out where I want things. The kitchen and bathrooms are the only rooms that I have everything where I want it. All the other rooms I change something every day.
Probably the biggest blessing of our home is our garage and our basement. We didn't have either in the old house and we were all in the same room all the time. Now the kids have their own play area in the basement and the can go down there, be silly and just be 6 and 8 year olds and Dad can stay upstairs and watch the Red Wings. Nice. The garage is GREAT! Soon we might even have enough empty boxes out of it to use it. :) After it gets emptied, we'll have a nice place for our outdoor things AND a car. I will be very happy not to scrape windows this winter.
Thank you all for praying for our move. God was evident. That will be another blog, this one is already too long.

Are you renting?

We have to right now. We still have the home in Ann Arbor, for some reason the banks won't give people of normal income two mortgages :) The owner would consider an option to purchase if we are interested.

That post was NOT too long, I need to know every detail!! Keep us informed. It looks so perfect, like Jenny said, it looks nice and bright inside, i love windows! Garages are a gift from God, especially when you are trying to load up four kids.

Very cute Pam, I love the fireplace. We are probably going to put our house on the market in the next few weeks. We would like to be in the township or Freeland area. My house is also older and has a lot of 'character', that's one of the things I liked about it when I bought it. Enjoy the new house.

Kara, I don't have 4 kids to load up, but just having a place for everything is blessing enough for me right now :) I'll give you more details in the next blog.

Pam
Don't give out your address on the internet. I love you.

Thanks for the reminder Jen. Although, our address, James' salary, his cell phone are all public information due to his job. Lucky us.
