New Bed

Evan has officially outgrown his beautiful cradle. I'll admit it, it makes me cry that his cradle will have to be put away for the next baby someday.

It had to be done. Most mornings this is how I find Evan. In the corner, usually with his arm hanging out. OR, he has his hands on both sides of the cradle hanging on and crying because he doesn't know how to let go.

So, today James went and got him his new big crib. It seems huge in comparison, but much better. He settled right in and went right to sleep. What a good boy :)

Those graduating moments make me a little teary eyed as well. But look at how big he is! Now he'll have more room to cover as he inches along. (And I love that he is sucking his thumb!)

How come your pictures won't get larger when clicked on? I want a close up of Evan sucking his thumb.
Congrats on moving on up! I must not be a very sentimental person. I don't remember getting misty eyed at all when Owen moved to his crib. I was just glad he was out of my room! :)
