Luters by the dozen!!

Wyatt - Annelise - Evan

Saturday was the Luter family reunion. Thanks Aunt Becky for having us all over!
It was so much fun. On the way over I was so excited to see my family, and I got a bit weepy over the fact that my grandparents wouldn't be there. I was so tired from having an 8 year with a nightmare crawl into bed with me at 5:00am and proceed to kick me every few minutes. Tired Pam = tears. Oh well.
Anyway, the reunion. In one word? LOUD!! We are a bunch of loud Luters for sure. What a fun time to sit Annelise, Wyatt and Evan the Moose all next to each other for the first time. Seriously, I knew my kid was big, but next to those two he's huge! Almost 3 months younger and 5-10 pounds bigger.
The kids were thrilled to have other kids to play with and it was fun to introduce them to some family they had never even met. The funniest conversations were on the way home. In a blizzard. Heard by Hannah: "I can't believe all those people were FAMILY!" James: "Yep. Pappy really does have brothers".
Darryl and Evan bonded. Evan just snuggled up and took a snooze with him. Darryl must have that grandpa touch now.
We also had a good time seeing our own immediate family as we don't get to see them as much as we'd like. Grandma (or Ga! as Evan says) and Grandpa got to see and hug all the kids.
All in all, a good day.

That Evan is going to make Daddy so proud on the football field someday! That picture is cute of the 3 cousins, Wyatt looks like a smiley little guy.
