Fun and Fearless at Castaway Cafe

The kids had Monday off from school this week. James and I always enjoy some extra time with the kids. James took half a day off and we took the kids to Castaway Cafe. We had pizza and pop and just played for HOURS! The kids had so much fun!! It's a great place for adults too if you have never been there. They have nice soft cushy lazy-boys to watch the kids from. Everything is padded so the little ones aren't going to get hurt. Although it's more of a big kid place. Evan sure thought he was big. They have a small toddler area with a slide and he went down it many many times. Most of the by himself! He has no fear. (the pool is going to be fun) He went down once with Hannah and once with James and then he was on his own.
Well, time for dinner then we are going to make a craft tonight.

That does look like a great place, more comfortable than McDonald's playland!
Glad you had a great day. :)

Holy Cow! That place looks so stinkin cool! I want to go! Where is it? Noah and I were just commenting tonight at Micky D's that they don't have playlands anymore! So sad. The one we were at looked like a coffee house, but defiantly wasn't!

I can't believe he went down the slide by himself, face first and laughing. Hold on, that boy is gonna keep you running.

We did have so much fun! It's in Howell right at the M-59/1-96 interchange. I actually heard about it for the first time from Heather H. Hannah has been to birthday parties there but this is the first time we did a family outing. We will absolutely be doing it again.
