Thanksgiving and More

We had a REALLY nice Thanksgiving weekend. Enjoyed our family and ate way too much. I'm so thankful for my family and their generosity. Also I'm VERY thankful that God has answered prayers this year in extraordinary ways!!!

I did my first turkey. Raw turkey is super gross, but the finished product was worth it. James carved this year too for the first time. I think we'll have to do it again.

We all go to visit my "home" church. IBC where I grew up. I like showing off the kids and seeing friends I don't get to very often.
After a weekend of being away, we were anxious to get home and put out our Christmas decorations. The kids and James did it all!! I figure that someday I'll have my tree and I'll be sad the kids aren't putting it up their way, so I let them do it all the way. It's far from perfection in a decorators sense, but it's perfect in my eyes. I love it! I see them in it all the way.

Pam, I agree. The kids did a great job on the tree. Looks like the turkey was cooked and I agree with you that the raw bird is definitely gross. Hope you enjoyed your time at "home" celebrating with your family.
